Age 93 of Farmington, Michigan.


Beloved husband of Grace for 40 years. Loving father of John (Barbara), Andrew and the late Mark Carithers. Cherished grandfather of Cara Guikema, Great-grandfather of Lessa, Thacher and Kate. Dear brother of Fred Carithers, brother-in-law of Sam Devin, Pat Devin and John Della Siega. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Arthur was a proud U.S. Navy Veteran of WW II serving as Staff Officer to Admiral Nimitz.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will take place in Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
