Arlene was a graduate of Redford High School. She work for the City of Detroit for over 32 years, starting out as a purchasing clerk, and later becoming supervisor in the Income Tax Department.

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth. Loving mother of Vanese McLachlan, Thelma Alexander and Mary Emmitt. Cherished grandmother of nine; great-grandmother of 12. Survived by Shirley (Ronald) Arkils, Karen Fothergill, Ida Patti and Ronald (Michelle) Bever, Jr.

Funeral Saturday 11 a.m. at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home, 33603 Grand River Avenue, downtown Farmington (1 blk. W. of Farmington Rd.). Officiant Rev. Larry R. Austin.
