Cherished grandmother of Matthew and Nathan Thomas, Bobby, Lindsay, and Andrew Kleinschmit.
Great-grandmother of Noah.

Amy was born in New Haven, Connecticut and grew up in Holland, Michigan. She graduated from Holland High School in 1945, attended Hope College and graduated in 1949 with a degree in Elementary Education. Amy married Robert Kleinschmit in June 1952 and was a wonderful mother to her three children who will miss her dearly. Amy was a teacher in the Farmington Public Schools for 20 years. She was very involved with the First Presbyterian Church of Farmington where she was a member for over 50 years.
