Dearest husband of the late Marcy M. for 66 1/2 years. Precious father of Gloria Longo (the late Tony), Loretta Lorentz (Gary),
the late Paul, and the late Alfred. Beloved grandfather of Lori Marvel (Brian), Scott Lorentz (Calla), Stacy Morris (Pat), Angela Wilson (Dan), Lynn Ris (Brian), Carol Carroll (Shawn), and Paul Pagnani.
Great-grandfather of 13. Also survived by his brother Paul Benedict.


A funeral mass will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. (in state at 9:30 a.m.) at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23815 Power Rd., Farmington.

Visitation will be on Tuesday from 12-9 p.m., Scripture Service 7 p.m. at Thayer-Rock Funeral Home.

Interment will take place in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Southfield.
