Age 89, of Farmington, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018. Born October 20, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Walter and Rose Plagens. Beloved wife of 67 years to Walter V. Brenz; loving mother of Deb (Roger) Kimball, James Brenz, Terry Brenz, Mary Lou Patterson, Sue (Gene) Price, Joanie (Tony) Bowman and the late Gregory Brenz; proud grandmother of Jennifer, Lindsay, Jaime, Sara, Jessica, Abbey, Emily, Sydney and Peter, great-grandmother of Cash and Ever. Sadly, Rita was preceded in death by all of her brothers and sisters.

A Funeral Mass for Rita will be held Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at 10:00 AM (in state 9:00 AM) at Our lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 23815 Power Rd. Farmington, MI.

Committal prayers will follow her Mass at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Southfield
